The internal surface of the strainer was rebuilt with Belzona 1111 (Super Metal) and overcoated with Belzona 1341 (Supermetalglide)

Application Situation

The existing coating on the sea water strainer failed at many locations which caused localized corrosion on multiple locations which lead to deep pitting and corrosion.

Application Method

1. Remove the existing coating.
2. Rebuild the surface with Belzona 1111 on all the pitted areas
3. Overcoat the internal surfaces with Belzona 1341 (Supermetalglide)
