Problem: Customer at an energy from waste plant had air cooled condenser (ACC) fan blades that were suffering from wear and tear due to abrasion.

Quick curing time, ensured that the ACC fan could be back in operation quickly​

Application Situation
Customer was not able to remove fan blades without causing lengthy downtime and expensive moving costs. A leading edge protection solution was required to repair fan blades in situ.
Application Method
The surface area was prepared to a minimum surface profile. Belzona 5711 and Belzona 5721 was selected to protect the edges of the fan blades and applied with a Cox ElectraFlow Dual Ultra 400 MR dispenser.
