Application Situation

Deck water seal of inert gas generator system on an FPSO. Seal handles sea water at ambient temperatures.

Application Method

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet VPF-17 using the Belzona flange face forming kit.

Belzona Facts

Client was unable to use hot work and had restricted time. Application was carried out over a weekend and the entire solution, from first notification was completed in less than a week. A number of flanges were reformed using the Belzona re-usable formers. The vessel was returned to service with minimum disruption to the production cycle.
