Problem: The Customer needed a protective coating to prevent H₂S damage on a newly installed concrete ring at a pump station.

Application Situation

A new concrete ring installed to increase the height of a pump station to prevent stormwater from getting into the pump station.

Application Method

The application was carried out in accordance with a modified version of Belzona Know-How System Leaflet VPF-14.
The concrete surface was prepared by scarification. Belzona 5811 (Immersion Grade) was applied to the entire repair area.
