Problem: A previously applied competitor product was beginning to fail. Leaks in the roof were allowing water to flow behind lower concrete and brickwork. This caused damage to the roof structure as well as internal damage.

Application Situation
28 roofs of various sizes across the housing estate.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know How System Leaflets RPA-8 and RPA-10. All flashings were cleaned, and loose chippings on the felt were removed. Belzona 3911 was applied to the asphalt and Belzona 3921 applied to the lead flashings. This was followed by two coats of Belzona 3111 along with Belzona 9311 laid into the first coat.
Belzona Facts
The alternative option would have been to replace the felt and lead flashing. This would mean there is no guarantee of leaks not forming in the future and the problem repeating itself, potentially leading to regular replacement and increased costs. The Belzona system creates a seamless weatherproof barrier over the roof with proven longevity.
