Problem: After fabricating a new pump, the customer conducted a thorough analysis of the media, operating temperature, and Belzona product data sheets. Belzona 1391T was selected over competing products due to its exceptional test results, proven performance history, and superior resistance to corrosion and erosion in high-temperature environments.

Application Situation
The media was oil and gas mixture operating at 120°C temperature. The equipment is subject to erosion and corrosion issue due to the corrosive media and high temperature operations.
Application Method
1. Blast the surface to reach a minimum of 75 um and near-white metal.
2. Mix and prepare Belzona 1391T for application by brush.
3. Apply the two-coat system to reach the recommended DFT.
Belzona Facts
Belzona has an excellent track record of protecting against such issues. While the Belzona coating outperformed others in all aspects, the most significant advantage was its ease of application. It required no complex tools or hot work—one of the key reasons it was chosen over other coatings with more complicated procedures.
