The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet SHM-8. Expanded metal was tack welded into position to assist rebuilding with Belzona® 1812. Belzona® 2111 found to give improved protection on high wear areas.

Without the Belzona, this equipment lasted less than 500 hours, one year’s season (spring to fall). With Belzona® 1812 as a coating, inspection showed very small wear and was useable another season after some touch up. In some areas, impact was more severe and the use of Belzona® 2111 resulted in no wear after 500 hours.
