Problem: The spool was leaking and had to be replaced. Upon inspection of the pump it was discovered that the previous Belzona® 1321 coating, done 7-1/2 years ago, was in excellent condition except around the spool where damage had occurred.

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How Leaflets CEP-1 and CEP-3.
Belzona Facts
After 7-1/2 years of operation the original Belzona® 1321 erosion/corrosion resistant coating is in excellent condition. The damaged area was touched up and the pump put back in service, hopefully for another 7-1/2 years.
