Problem: Water ingresses through the crack between the concrete foundation and tank base. The location of tank is near the sea shore, so presence of high moisture levels accelerates the corrodion at the bottom plate of the tank.

Application Situation
Application was carried out on crude tank no 104. Diameter of tank is 54 meter. Tank is placed on a concrete foundation.
Application Method
Painting was removed from the shell upto a height of 0.2 meter fromo the base. The concrete was also cleaned and the surface was made clean dry and rough. Belzona 3911 (PSC) was applied on the concrete surface, Belzona 3921 ( GSC) was applied on the cleaned metallic surface of the tank. Belzona 3111 was applied on the prepared surface.  Belzona 9611 along with Belzona 3111 was applied. After the application gets cured, a final layer of Belzona 3111 was applied.
Belzona Facts
Application was checked on regular interval by the refinery officials, they found the application satisfactory and placed order for the same application on other tank.
