Products: Belzona 1111 (Super Metal), Belzona 1212, Belzona 4521 (Magma-Flex Fluid), Belzona 5231 (SG Laminate)

Problem: The concrete (70m²) was softened and damaged due various oils being spilled over the area.

Removal and installation of the defective floor by scarifier/grinder.

Cutting expansion joints and preparations for coating.

2x Coats of Belzona 5231 including recessing for new system parts.

Application Situation

Workshop floor renovation.

Application Method

The damaged floor was mechanically removed, cleaned and rebuilt, various areas sealed using Belzona 1111 and Belzona 1212. Followed by 2 coats of Belzona 5231. Finally, new expansion joints were formed using Belzona 4521. The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet FPA-01 & FPA-06

Belzona Facts

By sealing the concrete floor, Belzona provides a barrier preventing future oil spillages from seeping into the substrate and causing further damage.
