Application Situation

Offshore riser casing required a solution to extend service life

Application Method

Repair parameters, repair thickness, number of wrap and wrapping length have been calculated from operating condition of the pipe which are provided by customer. Surface has been prepared with garnet grit to achieved SA 2 1/2 level of cleanliness and roughness more than 75 microns. Leaked or through wall defects were stopped by Belzona 9611 then rebuilt corroded surfaces with Belzona 1111 then SuperWrap II repair system was applied by using Belzona 1982 SuperWrap II Resin with Belzona 9381 reinforcing fiber.
