Problem: A series of pipes entering a chemical sump were found to be a leak path for water to enter the sump. This leak path needed to be stopped as the chemicals within the sump could react violently with water

Application Situation
Mortar repairs had been attempted in the past. They were found to be ineffective due to their porous nature & poor adhesion to existing concrete. The Belzona solution was selected due to its impermeable nature & excellent adhesion to different substrates.
Application Method
The pipes & concrete wall were grit blasted. Belzona 4911 TX Conditioner was applied & then Belzona 4111 was built up around the pipes to seal any potential leak paths
