Application Situation

10 years after Belzona 1321 was applied to the split case pump, the coating is now almost completely gone and erosion has removed some of the steel. The customer was happy with the performance of Belzona and wished to utilize Belzona materials to further extend the life of this pump.

Application Method

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflets CEP-2, CEP-3 & CEP-5.

Belzona Facts

While this pump is not operating the production is reduced. The cost and time for replacement made this option economically non-viable for the customer. Given their previous experience with a Belzona product on this pump, the customer was confident in the performance of the Belzona solution, which saved them considerable cost and reduced down time.
