Application Situation

This application provided a fast turnaround (4 working days) which meant minimal impact on site functions

Application Method

Frost blasted using conventional blasting within the BUK blast facilities. Cold plate bonded using Belzona 1111 (Super Metal)then SuperWrap II applied utilising 84mm wide sheet due to geometry.

Belzona Facts

GRP can be brittle and prone to cracking or breaking under sudden impact. This can be a concern in applications where the material is exposed to high stress or impact loads. By applying our SuperWrap II system these concerns can be eliminated.
