Application Situation

The customer required a temporary repair solution to address leakage from the transformer fins. Replacement fins would not be available for approximately four months, so an interim repair was necessary to control the leak, maintain transformer operation, and prevent further deterioration.

Application Method

The repair was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet TCC-1:

1. The leaking area on the transformer fin was thoroughly cleaned and abraded using power tools.

2. Belzona 1212 with 9341 reinforcement sheet was applied to restore the surface and stop the leak.
