Problem: This concrete clear well had 185 linear feet of hairline cracks and corners that were gradually crumbling off as well as exposed rebar.

Application Situation

Concrete clear well.

Application Method

The surface was cleaned by sandblasting and ground out. Belzona 1121 was used to anchor injection ports along the cracks and were injected with Belzona 4154. The tops of the cracks were then sealed with Belzona 4911 Conditioner and Belzona 4141. The same products were used to rebuild and resurface the corners where they had deteriorated away.

The total cost of this project at this small plant amounted to approximately $10K in Belzona materials which is significant less than the cost of the complete reconstruction or neglecting the maintenance.
