Problem: After being approached on a safety issue, Belzona were asked to supply a solution to make good spalled concrete areas and provide a safe walkway to a number of flats in the Nottingham area

Application Situation

The contractor have carried out many applications since the early 1970s . All residents were given notice of mobilization and were kept in the loop during the project
A Site compound was established and all relevant H&S matters were considered and signed off by the main contractor

Application Method

All concrete repairs were prepared according to IFU and System Leaflet WPA4
Application to all damaged areas using Belzona 4911 and Belzona 4141
Belzona 3131 was applied to the walkways and stairs using Granogrip, blinded into the second coat to offer a full grip system

Belzona Facts

Other materials were considered, but the main client has had experience on very similar works with Belzona and it was decided to stay with a tried, tested and proven solution
