Problem: Standard Epoxy paints were peeling off within 6-8 months and outside of storage tanks get heavely corroded , mainly on the bottom portion at a height of 2 metres from the foundations.

Application Situation
Storage Tank - Capacity - 2650 T / Day was suffering huge chemical and environmental corrosion due to fumes of Phosphoric and Sulphuric acid and coastal environment.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-5. Since rebuilding was not required Belzona® 4311 has been applied directly on the blasted surface after cleaning.

Customer could not find any long term solution except Belzona. Customer has saved huge cost of tank replacement
