Application Situation

A premises-wide ban on welding had been put into place at this large distribution center, mainly due to the fumes, environmental and personal damage that the welding process could manifest. An alternative needed to be identified and Belzona was asked to trial the solution

Application Method

All areas were prepared using a mechanical grinder with cutting discs and flap discs
Belzona 9111 was used to clean and degrease the target areas' Belzona 9341 was used to reinforce the repair

Belzona Facts

Welding was effectively banned across the whole site, therefore was a new solution was needed top offer repairs to the hundreds of wheeled baskets. The only other alternatives were to ship the baskets out for repair, or purchase new. Against the Belzona solution, neither of these options were viable
