Application Method

The application was carried out in accordance with system leaflet MPT–06. Belzona 4301 (Magma CR1 H-Build) was used for the rebuilding of seating faces/pitting damages. Belzona 4311 (Magma CR1) was used as the internal coating of the expansion joints.

Belzona Facts

The internal of the Expansion joints had not been inspected and the internal conditions were not known. The customer had no drawings / technical specifications with respect to gaskets. However, there was also a very short lead time for repairing the six expansion joints. All the six expansion joints were tested for “Zero leakage” and were installed back to the flare header with the full satisfaction of the customer. All the six expansion joints are working fine to date, without any leaks.
